Grateful Reflections of India ~
God Worked Powerfully!!!

THE TAJ MAHAL, oh it's a wonder of the world, with it's magnificence of design and it's history. But A FAR GREATER WONDER was to stand before women who were transformed by the power of Jesus Christ, just a year or two ago from the bondage of Hinduism. Their faces shown with the love of Jesus flowing through them. They were eager to learn, and sat in sessions as long as we would teach them. Limited numbers of key leaders were invited, but the numbers kept swelling daily, as word spread of “the powerful teaching”

When asked why they left Hinduism, they responded:

• Jesus is the only god who loves you. Hindu gods punish, but Jesus loves.
• We worshiped dead gods, but only Jesus is the living God.
• Jesus is the only One who died for us – not just a region, but for everyone.
• There are many religious books, but only the Bible says “I love you.”
• From your teaching, Patricia, we learned about God's word. Evil spirits left, and we can now say publicly, “I love Jesus.”

They thanked us over and over for coming, grateful for the help, and promising to share the teachings with women in their church and village. Each member of our team worked well to make an harmonious whole. The team shared in teaching sessions, but equally as important were the times spent encouraging and praying for the ladies. It was time well-spent, invested for the KINGDOM OF GOD.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE WOMEN OF INDIA?

• Patricia will put together (this fall), the teachings for EIGHT 2010 pastor's wives conferences across northern India.
• She will soon write curriculum for a senior leadership training that will begin in March. The Institute for Women (called the ACADEMY globally), is the female version of the Institute for Coordinators. These women will be selected from criteria that includes character and leadership potential. They will meet two times per year for a week, with assignments to complete. Patricia will be the master teacher, training others in the process.
